- Explore the Blackboard course container and watch the orientation video.
- Post on the Discussion Board a personal introduction telling a little bit about who you are and why you are taking the class.
- Reply to at least one other introduction on the Discussion Board.
- Skim Chapter 1 in your textbook and take a look at:

- View all week 1 video lectures (Orientation, Geologic Time Introduction, Principles of Relative Dating 1 & 2).
- Take the follow-up quiz for the video lectures.
- Complete the Geologic History Assignment and Assessment (The assignment will be emailed to you. When you have finished the assignment, then do the assessment to receive credit.).
- Respond to the topics posted on the Discussion Board for Week 1 and/or post your own!
