About Julie

Julie Middlemas is a librarian at Grossmont College.  She serves as Collection Development liaison for Anthropology, Child Development, Family & Consumer Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, Theater, History and English.  She is also the lead for electronic resources, periodicals and reference.

Julie was granted tenure in 2006 and was also honored as Outstanding Faculty Member the same year.  She advanced to full professor in 2011.

Julie received her M.A. in Library Science at the University of Arizona and B.A. from the University of Utah with a major in History and a minor in Sociology.  Professional experience includes Cal State San Marcos, National University and Chula Vista Public Library in San Diego County.  She was also Assistant Archivist at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
