ASU accepts both CSU and IGETC Certification for general education with a C grade or higher for each course and an overall 2.50 GPA in all transferable course work. Exceptions: Requires a corresponding lab for both physical (B1) and biological (B2) sciences plus English 120 (A2) and 124 (A3 - Critical Thinking) if following CSU Certification.
Transfer Admission Requirement:15 transferable units including English & Math, 2.5 GPA for Arts & Science, 2.8 for Nursing, 3.0 plus 30 transferable units for Business
Lower Division GE: IGETC and CSU certifications, AA, AS, AST, AAT from any California Community College as automatically fulfills lower division breadth requirements.
Alert:National University will accept the following General Education certifications: CSU General Education Breadth and Inter-segmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC). All IGETC and CSU GE Breadth requirements must be completed and certified prior to transfer. We do not accept partial certifications for General Education.
GE: Oregon State will accept the IGETC from any California Community College to satisfy lower division (general) requirements. Due to credit differences, students may not automatically have junior standing.
University accepts a maximum of 12 units of online courses from regionally accredited institutions. The courses need to be approved by the department chair. Specific departments do not accept any online coursework (such as foreign language, speech, physical education, science with labs etc.) Each course is evaluated on an individual basis. There is no set policy for transferability.

California students with a certified IGETC or CSUGE can start with most of their general education courses covered.
Students have the option of attending their main campus campus in Tucscon or an extended campus in Yuma or UA Online.
UA Online offers programs built 100% in-house and taught by UA professors. Students earn the same education and same degree as those on the main campus.
Students have access to many of the same campus resources including libraries, drop-in tutoring, and pay-per-credit tuition, which lets them pay the same rate they would in-state.
