Financially Accessible

Although the cost of higher education rises every year, community colleges continue to offer the most financially accessible education to the widest group of students. On this page, you’ll find a summary of the costs of attending Grossmont College, or use our handy calculator.

Auto Parking Permit

Students attending Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College pay parking fees on ONE CAMPUS ONLY. The auto parking permit can be attached to a plastic hanger to be used as a multi-car permit or attached to your vehicle’s windshield. Free plastic hangers will be available at various locations around campus.

Policies-All Fees

  • All fees incurred must be paid in fill at the time of registration.
  • Enrollment and health fees for students attending Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College are figured on a district basis.
  • Fees may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, cash, personal check, cashier's check, or money order.
  • Makes checks payable to: GCCCD or Grossmont college.
  • The student's Social Security number or assigned student ID number must be clearly written on the front of checks and money orders.
  • Checks or credit card transactions returned by the bank will result in a $10 returned item charge.
  • Fees may be paid at the cashier's office or online through Web Advisor.

Policies-Health Fees

The mandatory health fee (accident insurance) shall be for the protection of any student who may experience an injury while participating in a college-sponsored class or other activity directly supervised by a member of the college staff at a college-approved co-curricular activity.

Note: Students who depend exclusively upon prayer for healing according to the teaching of a bona fide religious sect, denomination, or organization may petition for an exemption from the health fee by submitting a written request to the Office of Admissions and Records.  Requests for exemptions will be reviewed by the Dean of Admissions and Records and the Associate Dean of Student Affairs.

Fee Waivers & Fee Exemptions

The Board Financial Assistance Program provides Board of Governors waivers (BOGW) to help low-income students pay the enrollment fee, health fee, and parking fee in excess of $20. This aid does not have to be repaid. Eligibility requirements.

Please note: You are responsible for all appropriate fees unless you drop your class before the refund deadline.
