If you do choose take the assessment be aware that you will be given only one opportunity to take the test so it is recommended that you take some time to review your chemistry before you attempt the assessment. In order to help you prepare, the chemistry department has developed a self-graded assessment called chemland to help you determine whether or not you are prepared to take the official assessment.
  • Completing, with a "C" or better, an equivalent prerequisite course at another institution; MUST also contact the Department Chair of Chemistry.
