Question: What can you do with a degree in Cross-Cultural Studies?

Answer: Anything!

The Cross-Cultural Studies Program is housed under the English and Social & Behavioral Sciences Division, here at Grossmont College. According to a 2013 report by the Campaign for Social Science, employers of both public and private sectors highly seek social science graduates. These candidates move into managerial and senior official roles in comparison to graduates of other areas of study.

Our program offers valuable training for students to succeed and complete. We emphasize critical thinking, interpretation and analysis of materials, and communication and writing skills, all needed to succeed in any career or academic setting.

We also center cultural competency, diversity, and social consciousness, which empower our students along their educational and career paths.
