Homework Assignments (From Hein)

In order to learn chemistry you must spend time working with the new ideas you are seeing. This textbook has lots of web based tutorials and assignments that will help you do this. To succeed you should do the following:

Read through each chapter and answer the Check Your Understanding questions. These will be identified in the margin of the text and can be accessed through WileyPlus.
Work through the examples in the text. There are two additional resources in WileyPlus to help you master the ideas presented in these examples they are
1. Online Learning Modules with videos showing how to work through some of the example problems
2. Enhanced Examples with online problems similar to the example with tutorial help. After working through the example go on to Wiley Plus and complete the Enhanced Example where available.
Complete Orion Assignment (5% of grade)
1. The Orion Assignments require you to complete a minimum set of questions to receive credit. You will receive 50% credit for simply attempting the minimum number of questions and the credit will increase as the percentage of correct answers increases. You will receive 100% credit if you are able to answer 80% of the questions correctly!
Complete Homework Assignment (10% of grade)
