DALTON'S ATOMIC THEORY
- Elements are made up of atoms. All the atoms of a given element are identical.
- All matter is made up of a limited number of different elements. Atoms of one element cannot be changed into another element.
- Compounds form when the atoms of two or more elements combine in an integer ratio.
