For Students

If you are taking online classes for the first time or want new strategies in order to be successful, use these tips as a guide for your semester(s). 

This page provides valuable information that can help students with homelessness, food resources, mental health concerns, legal matters, and other emergency services.
We encourage all Grossmont students to use the free tutoring available. Work with a tutor often to strengthen your skills in class. ONLINE TUTORING IS AVAILABLE! Visit the link above to access the appointment system.
When you choose a ZTC course, you're guaranteed to NOT spend any money on textbooks for it. Click the link above to watch a video on how to search for ZTC courses through Self-Service.
Visit Grossmont College's Outreach YouTube channel. It has helpful videos about topics that many Grossmont students ask about (example: How to reset your password on WebAdvisor).

As a result of faculty requests, below is a Success Coach statement that can be copied and pasted into your syllabus or it may be modified, as needed.

If you have concerns that are making it difficult to do well in your courses, you are encouraged to reach out to the Grossmont College Success Coaches. A Success Coach will brainstorm options with you and connect you with resources to help overcome any obstacles standing in your way.
