The timeline below charts, from 1961 to present, the heirarchy of campus leadership historically relevant to the English Department. Because Grossmont College has undergone occasional reorganization and expansion over the years, changes in administrative titles (such as "Superintendent") are reflected accordingly. Furthermore, because the English Department's divisional membership has periodically shifted, the years of service listed for some deans may not be comprehensive of their full term of service but, rather, pertain only to when the English Department was included in their division.
