Background and Bio

Peter Bradley completed his Master’s in English at URI in 1966, then undertook post-graduate studies at Catholic University's for a Master's of Fine Arts in Theater; however, while he was teaching English at the Charles County Community College in southern Maryland, he switched to doctoral studies in English and Linguistics.

After relocating to Southern California, Bradley taught part-time at Grossmont College and other institutions in San Diego County. In 1971, Grossmont Junior College offered him a full-time staff position in the English Department, where Bradley taught College English Essentials and Reading and Composition courses, as well as spelling skills and vocabulary building classes. He also occasionally taught subjects drawing from his background in Speech, including Introduction to Linguistics.

Peter Bradley retired from teaching in 1999 after forty years of service in San Diego County.
