The Grossmont College Creative Writing Program is pleased to present an evening with acclaimed poet and creative nonfiction writer Susan Luzzaro. Luzzaro will read from her first volume of poems entitled The Flesh Envelope in which we meet a brave and fiercely intelligent woman who has "recovered from senseless family tragedy to make a new life, raising her independent children, undergoing the daily dramas of empowerment (and doubt), and reflecting on the perils of politics and circumstances with both wisdom and humor." The event is free and open to the public.
