The Math Study Center (MSC) is located in the Tech Mall in rooms 70-112 and 70-113. Room 70-112 is the main tutoring room. 70-113 is a class room weekday mornings till afternoon and a opens up for tutoring after the classes. See the schedule on the right.The MSC is a walk-in based tutoring center that provides academic support services for math courses taught at Grossmont College. Our services are FREE of charge for Grossmont Students. Many students form study groups and meet in the MSC to do their homework on a regular basis where they can receive assistance from tutors. Students can gather here with their instructor to do their math in a more relaxed atmosphere and to explore additional topics. Computers are available for students to access the online software used in their math courses.
The core mission for the MSC is to help students achieve academic success in their math courses at Grossmont College. Math students can drop by anytime it is open for assistance. Students can also make an appointment for a private tutor by contacting the Tutoring Center (located on the second floor of the Tech Mall in room 70-202) at 619-644-7387 or online.
