The Math Study Center is always looking for tutors. If you are good in math, posses good people skills, and are interested in being a tutor you may fill out the tutor application by clicking on the link below.
The tutors in the Math Study Center are screened for their knowledge of mathematics, patience, and their ability to communicate. They are also required to complete the initial tutor training and attend ongoing training workshops several times each semester.
The minimum qualifications are:
All tutors must have completed Math 180 (Calculus 1) or higher. Although statistics (math 160) is not a requirement, hiring and scheduling preference is given to those who have completed statistics and/or higher level math.
Earned a "B" or higher in ALL math courses.
Fluent in the English language.
Current enrollment/student status is not required.
