After reviewing these sections, answer the questions listed below by directly entering your responses into this webpage.  When complete, click on the "SUBMIT" button at the end of the form.  Your answers will be emailed directly to your instructor.

After reading these sections, answer the following questions....

    1.  Provide 4 examples of what you can do with GIS from the readings?

    2.  Explain the 5 steps of the framework for GIS analysis? (don't just list them)

    3.  Fill in the Blanks:
            "The Geographic Approach is a new way of thinking and  that
              integrates  into how we understand
              and  our planet."

    4.  The benefits of GIS generally fall into five basic categories.  What are they?

    6.  Give examples of how GIS can provide cost savings and increased efficiency.

        10.  What is done with the data once it is gathered by the "hand-held GPS enabled data collector" to help better plan a management strategy?
