Welcome and thank you for your interest in Grossmont College!!


Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Grossmont College Student Services Building (10) will be closed to students and the public for safety and sanitary purposes starting March 16, 2020.

We have limited ability to respond to student inquiries so it may take time.  However, our Admissions & Records  document is available for you here to answer some of your questions. COVID-19 FAQ

 

New student applications are available according to the following schedule: 

Term Applications Open Term Begins
Spring 2020 8/27/2019 1/27/2020
Summer 2020 10/15/2019 6/22/2020
Fall 2020 10/15/2019 8/17/2020

You need to apply if:

  • You have never been a student at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College.
  • You have not been in attendance at either college for at least two consecutive semesters.
  • You submitted an application for a future semester and wish to attend a current one.

Please Note:

  1. You do not need to apply for multiple terms.  Your application is valid for one academic year. (e.g.: if you applied for Fall 2019, you do not need to apply for Spring 2020)
  2. If you previously applied through CCCApply, you will need to create a new user name and password for Open CCC Apply. Your old user name and password will not be valid in the new system.
  3. For new students only:  if you are seeking priority registration please click here for more information.

Social Security Number:

Social Security numbers are no longer being used as student ID numbers.  Students will be assigned a unique 7-digit ID number.  However, Social Security numbers are still important and required for Hope and Lifelong learning (1098T) tax form, Financial Aid and California Promise Grant (formerly known as Board of Governor Fee Waiver [BOGW]) transactions. 

International Students:
