ABOUT THE LYRICS:
The song title "Anarch Of the Covenant" was intended by Bangs as a pun on the "Ark of the Covenant," and was included in his 1977 summer CBGB's performances (June 12-14). According to Blog to Comm's Christopher Stigliano, Musicians backing Bangs on stage were Jody Harris, David Hofstra, Jay Dee Dougherty, and Robert Quine.
