A screening of the controversial political documentary award winner The Anatomy of Hate: A Dialogue to Hope, an independent film by director Michael Ramsdell promoting social change, diversity and hate speech in America, with Director's Talkback. This ninety-minute film reveals the shared narratives found in individual and collective ideologies of hate, and how humans as a species can overcome them.

The Grossmont College Nursing and Allied Health Program hosts a symposium on healthcare values celebrating a diverse cross-section of cultures and subcultures; featuring speakers who have done work on various medical missions, including in third world countries, with minimal resources.

Hosted by the American Sign Language Department, Deaf Deaf World allows ASL speakers from throughout San Diego County to simulate a Deaf Town where only ASL is used. Participating academic institutions include Mesa College, Cuyamaca College, City College, Southwestern College, SDSU, UCSD, USD, and other private colleges in the San Diego area.
